Why Fundraising Matters


Fundraising is vital to keep our band thriving, ensuring every student has the chance to grow, perform, and enjoy unique opportunities without financial barriers. Band fundraising is essential for several key reasons:

 

Covering Costs:

Running a school band comes with many costs—uniforms, instruments, sheet music, competition fees, travel, and equipment upkeep. Fundraising helps cover these expenses so families don’t have to pay everything out of pocket.


Promoting Inclusion:

Fundraising makes it possible for all students to join the band, no matter their financial background. This helps ensure everyone has a chance to participate.


Creating More Opportunities:

Extra funds allow the band to attend more events, bring in guest instructors, or plan special trips, making the experience richer for all members.


Building Community Support:

Fundraising events like performances and sales connect the band with the local community and raise awareness.


Teaching Important Skills:

Taking part in fundraising helps students develop teamwork, communication, organization, and responsibility.

The Warren County Band Booster Club is partnering with Poppin' Popcorn to help raise funds in order to assist the Dynamic Marching Machine in traveling to Orlando, Florida to perform at the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World! 50% of all proceeds will go towards transportation and lodging expenses for the trip.
